OHOS Eyewear was born from a bold idea: that a great pair of sunglasses could do more than just elevate your style — it could make a difference. Founded by Felipe, a Nicaraguan entrepreneur blending creativity, tech, and heart, OHOS stands at the intersection of elegant design, affordable quality, and meaningful impact.
Our name, OHOS, is a smart take on the Spanish word for “eyes” — with the two “O”s visually representing lenses, connected by the “H” like a pair of stylish frames. It’s a nod to our roots, and to seeing the world through a sharper, more compassionate lens.

About the Founder
Felipe grew up in Nicaragua, studied Business and Computer Information Systems, and built a career in lead generation and data sales in the U.S. But entrepreneurship was always calling — especially projects with heart and creativity.
He’s designed mobile apps, created promo videos, and launched product campaigns, but OHOS is his most personal venture yet. Inspired by his partner Antonella Castelo — a gifted jeweler, interior designer, and founder of Color Canela — Felipe channeled his creative drive into building OHOS. Her vision and courage were foundational to the brand’s concept and identity.
A special thank-you also goes to David Salazar, founder of Just Mktg, whose guidance and expertise were instrumental in refining and polishing the OHOS brand.
